Our Starter Packs are designed to have everything you need to get growing your plants - just drop the compost pellets into water to rehydrate them, pop the pellets into your pots, sow your seed and away you go!

Growing Instructions:

Luffa seeds can be tricky to germinate. Soaking the seeds in water for 12 hours prior to sowing can help increase germination rates. The seeds need plenty of warmth so make sure they're on a windowsill that gets lots or warm sun or left somewhere that is consistently warm.

Keep the pellets moist, but not too wet.

When the roots begin to show through the pellet, remove the membrane and pot on. 

Grow plants on and plant out when all risk of frost has passed. Luffas like a lot of heat and a nutrient rich soil, so plant where they will receive full sun and feed regularly with a balanced fertiliser. Luffa's are climbers so will need something to scramble up (or over).
