Our stock of Acis autumnalis bulbs originally came from two sources: the first listed as Acis autumnalis var. oporanthus and the second as Acis autumnalis. Over the years we have noticed distinct differences between the two forms and therefore sell them as seperate varieties, despite the oporanthus form losing varietal status.

For us Acis autumnalis var. oporanthus is earlier flowering, with flowers starting from mid-July on longer scapes; the first flowers often apper as the leaves begin to die down. New growth appears after flowering. 

Plants are supplied in 10cm coir pots with a minimum of 5 bulbs per pot.
